The M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 speakers combine 4 inch polypropylene coated drivers with ¾ inch ferrofluid-cool silk dome tweeters to give a balanced and uncolored sound with crispy high and punchy lows. The dense-wood custom cabinets help to deliver a more accurate bass response than would be possible with plastic multimedia speakers.
If you want to add more bass, the Studiophile AV 40′s have MDF wooden cabinets, a bass reflex design, and a bass boost switch integrated so you can crank out a lot of low end – this is perfect if you listen to a lot of dance and urban music.
The AV 40′s are magnetically shielded in order to prevent any interference with other electronic equipment that may be resting nearby.

The quality of lows completely contrast typical 2.1 speakers. The lows are clean, accurate and fast.
